Chicory pulp Died chicory root chips |
Empirical formula C7H6H2 |
Chicory pulp is the dried root of the chicory plant after the bioactive substances have been washed out. Chicory pulp has a high water and liquid absorption capacity compared with sugar beet pulp. Used as absorption agent for liquids. Highly suitable for animal nutrition because it still has a relatively high content of inulin and other prebiotic substances. |
